Our current projects
Learn about our latest collaborations, and what we're doing to aid progress in the respiratory mechanics field.

Precision Ventilation to Attenuate Ventilation-Induced Lung Injury, or PREVENT VILI is one of the largest research initiatives funded by the NIH in the respiratory mechanics field to date. Some of the most prestigious centers in the US are participating in the study: BIMDC, Duke University, Stanford Medicine and Columbia, among many others.
FluxMed monitors have been chosen as tools due to their advanced monitoring capabilities. We have also worked to provide a custom software, which is designed to maintain data quality and is consistent with study blinding. Lastly, our esophageal probes are preferred because they don't interfere with measurements and are easy to insert.
PRACTICAL
PRACTICAL (Platform of Randomized Adaptive Clinical Trials in Critical Illness) is a Bayesian adaptive platform randomized clinical trial studying novel interventions to improve outcomes for patients with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure.
Due to our high expertise in the field, our company has been chosen to aid local coordination of the trial. With our administrative infrastructure and knowledge, we guarantee a smooth path to initiating, monitoring and finalizing research studies.
